THE KPDA 2019 END OF YEAR KOROGA EVENT, FRIDAY 22ND NOVEMBER 2019 AT THE SPICE ROOTS RESTAURANT, NAIROBI
The KPDA Koroga event is a corporate networking event held by KPDA twice a year. The event is aimed at promoting informal business interactions and includes activities that allow the audience to interact in a relaxed environment.
On Friday, 22nd November 2019, the KPDA Corporate Networking Koroga Event was proudly sponsored by Rexe Roofing Products Ltd and Cummins C&G Ltd. Crowned with amazing music, great food, fun activities and an attendance of over 120 persons this was a Koroga to remember. During the Koroga Event, there was a Koroga Cooking Competition and a Raffle Competition.
There were five (5) participating teams in the cooking competition namely;
- Boogertman and Partners Architects Ltd who cooked wet fry chicken and rice
- Chigwell Holding Ltd who cooked fish ugali mille – feuille
- Coulson & Harney Advocates LLP who cooked chicken
- MML Turner & Townsend who cooked chicken and roti/naan
- Questworks Ltd who cooked tawa paneer
The winner of the cooking competition was MML Turner & Townsend who cooked chicken and roti/naan. The judges agreed that the meal was well cooked and full of flavor and the aesthetic appeal of the food was superb. They were awarded an engraved glass flower vase. They were closely followed by Questworks Ltd who cooked tawa paneer and won an engraved woven trug.
During the Koroga, KPDA also recognized its most active member for 2019, Stanley Kariuki of Mlima Construction Company Ltd who has attended all of KPDA’s events in 2019. Stanley has also been a very active member of KPDA’s committees, particularly the KEPSA Lands and Physical Planning Sector Board which works closely with the KPDA Public Policy and Advocacy Committee.
